Your self-assessment returns are important and can be tricky working out what your next move is going to be. A self-assessment return is a system the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) uses to collect Income Tax. Tax is usually deducted automatically from wages, pensions and savings. People and businesses with other incomes must report it in a tax return. If you need to send one, you fill it in after the end of the tax year it applies to.
There are different ways to register for a self-assessment return, these apply if you’re: self-employed or a sole trader, not self-employed or registering a partner or partnership.

I’ve been using KP Simpson for my annual account for a couple of years now and can’t thank them enough for the services they have given me. Brilliant advice from the start put into a language that anyone can understand. They are also very reasonably priced bearing in mind the exceptional service that is offered.
I have personally recommended their services to a number of my own personal clients and they have had nothing but praise for Andy and his team also. Top notch local service, nice work chap and chapettes.
